You will need:
1 can Century Tuna in Water
4 pieces Ripe Tomatoes, chopped
1 small head of lettuce, shredded
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
10-12 pieces Taco Shells
1 jar of Tostitos Salsa

Mix the tuna with 1/3 c of Tostitos salsa.
Prepare all the other ingredients and assemble them
on a "lazy susan" serving dish.

This is a quick, no fuss, no cook meal for
our "meatless" Fridays of Lent.

New Sunbeam, Greenhills Shopping Center

New Sunbeam, Greenhills Shopping Center
***

I'm quite sure you very well know "who belongs to these"?
Hee hee hee .... meeeeeee!
Yang Chow Fried Rice and Pancit, my staple foods in every meal.
Hot & Sour Soup, this was super hot / spicy and extremely sour.
Son didn't eat this.  I never like wasting food,
but I also do not like  hot spicy foods and soup.
Pork Asado was very tender.
Subtle flavors with a hint of anise.  Masarap!
Mapo Tofu ... you guessed right! Son adores mapo tofu!
***
New Sunbeam is a carinderia / turo turo / conveniece store.
It's name says NEW Sunbeam. Was there an OLD Sunbeam?
I have been forgetting a lot of things.. like names, places, events,
life events for that matter,  even people.
Oh well, it comes with the age.

Actually, forgetting details is good. It silences my mind and
makes my mundane life so much quieter and peaceful!
In the end, I get to sleep ten or more hours.
Lovely, isn't it?

since 1936
***
Pork Asado
Sizzling Shrimps
Fried Chicken
Mapo Tofu

Steamed Dory
Fried Rice
Pancit
***
I think I've featured this restaurant several times.
It's because we always eat here after coming from Fontana.
We probably even order the same dishes.

Son & Hubby just love their Pugon Roasted Asado.
I feasted on their fried rice and pancit.
This time we ordered the Steamed Cream Dory,
but the Son & Hubby do not really like eating Dory fish.
Their sizzling shrimps and the mapo tofu were
extremely spicy but very flavorful.
The boys enjoyed these two dishes.
Just had to get their fried chicken with its crispy skin and
very tender juicy meat. Who doesn't like fried chicken?
I can eat chicken everyday, three times a day... 24/ 7 ???

***
This caught my attention.  See the pagoda on top
of their delivery motorcycle's carry on?
Ang cute !!!

Binulo Restaurant, Clark, Angeles, Pampanga

Binulo Restaurant
***
Paco Fern Salad
Crispy Okoy
Sizzling Sisig
Chicharong Bulaklak
Sinigang naUlang (River Shrimps)
Ox Tail Karekare
***
This is probably our fifth time here  at Binulo Restaurant.
It's on the way and nearest to Fontana, has ample
parking space, clean air-conditioned dining area
and I just love their Crispy Okoy!
Brought my niece Dr Maria Cristina here for lunch.
I hope she liked the Okoy too.

Son requested for the Sinigang na Ulang.
It was cooked and served inside a bamboo,
that's binulo style of cooking.
(Cristina didn't dare touch the river shrimps.
The last time she ate these shrimps was when she was a child.
Her conjunctiva became swollen, as an allergic reaction to the ulang.
Sayang, she would have loved the sour sinigang broth.

I've been wanting to eat karekare for a week and Binulo's Ox Tail Karekare
satisfied my craving. Beef was very tender. Vegetables were fresh and crisp.
The peanut sauce, rich and superbly delicious.
and.... The bagoong was perfect!

Will always go back to this restaurant.

Shi Lin Restaurant, plus some Street Food at Lucky Chinatown Mall

Shi Lin at Lucky Chinatown Mall
***
Shrimp and Pork Siomai
Century Eggs with Bonito Flakes
Stir Fry Bokchoy
Fried Rice with Shrimp & Egg
Salt & Pepper Squid
Vegetable & Pork Wonton Soup
Deep Fried Asado Buns with condensed milk on the side.
********
I'm finally done posting restaurants in Roseville.

My niece, Dr. Maria Cristina, came to visit me last week.
She is a dentist like her Ninang, (that's me) and is based in Okinawa.
The last time she was in Manila was probably 8 years ago.

The first place I brought her to was Chinatown!
It took us two hours to drive to Binondo.
We should have taken the MRT. It would take
about half an hour to get there, but, I didn't want
her to ride the jeepney or the 'padyak' from the
MRT to Lucky Chinatown Mall.
Baka ma-culture shock or catch some viral infection.

We had our Chinese or was it a Taiwanese lunch at Shi Lin?
I've dined at Shi Lin in Alabang a few years back and
didn't really like the food then. But this time, I actually
enjoyed our lunch.  I particularly loved the Deep Fried Asado Buns,
served with condensed milk on the side instead of the
regular brown siopao sauce.  The servings in Shi Lin
are quite small, but that's okay,
their prices are actually very affordable.

********
Street Food at Lucky Chinatown Mall
Pork Barbeque, Betamax, Isaw etc
Just to 'culture-shock' my Chicago raised niece..
 hee hee hee
Dynamite Roll ... Ate Nene said the jalapenos weren't spicy.
All sorts of balls - fish balls, squid balls, shrimp balls.
Hotdogs, Kani or Kikiam on sticks
I wonder whether those are real crab claws sticking out
of the faux crab cakes.
The Lechon Liempo
I tried making this before but only used 1 kilo of liempo.
Ate Nene prepared a 4 kilo lechon liempo roll for the
party last Tuesday but since I didn't have a roasting rack
and only had a roasting pan, I removed the strings that
wrapped the liempo and just roasted the liempo flat,
skin side up on my small roasting pan.
The lemongrass at the bottom added that perfect flavor
for this lechon liempo.  The entire house smelled extremely
delicious! The girls just loved my un-rolled lechon liempo.
OOOOps...... got side tracked again with kwento...

Anyway, I love going to Lucky Chinatown Mall.
Right beside it is 999 Mall. It's an airconditioned
tiangge (like Greenhills), but about four times bigger.
That's shopping, bargain shopping, to the max.
We will be back.
