Katsu Sora, Eastwood Mall, QC

Katsu Sora's Salad Soup & Rice Buffet
At Katsu Sora again!  This time I brought some
of my dearest travel buddies with me.
 ***
Always good to share a meal with my trustworthy,
loving, patient and kind travel buddies, aka
DTBFF / dearest travel buddy friends forever.

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery, Eastwood Mall, QC

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is located at the 2nd Floor
of the Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City.
They also have a branch at the UP Town Center
and at the Alabang Town Center.
Maybe they have more branches around the metro
and that's really good.
Cupcake stores in the States have been closing shop
but not here in Manila.  If the cupcakes are as creamy
and delicious as these cupcakes,  I don't think
Vanilla Cupcake Bakery will ever close shop.
Red Velvet Cheesecake (Php120)
Salted Caramel Cheesecake (Php140)
Coffee Walnut Salted Caramel Cupcake (Php110)
( At the Town Center, they served their cupcakes on
mini cake stands. Just lovely!)
Cafe Americano (Php95)
I just love their light fixtures and everything else in
this pretty, cozy and calm  Sweet Shop!

Century Hotel's Buffet, Angeles, Pampanga

Lunch Buffet at Century Hotel,
Angeles Pampanga
(near PAGCOR Casino)
***
Salads
I particularly loved the Ripe Papaya & Roast Pork Salad
with Caesar Salad Dressing.
( Didn't add lettuce or other veggies.  I was a bit cautious lest I get an upset tummy.
That is for another story.  Had a bad episode with eating salads during the Holy Week.)
***
Deep dish Pizzas,  Assortment of Crusty Breads and Soup
Breads were freshly baked. Sarap.
I am such a carbo loader!
Pasta Station
Hamburger Station
***
Now, the various dishes. They were all very appetizing.
I liked their version of Chicken Galantina that had
Malunggay and Cream Sauce.  Extremely Delicious!
***
Crab & Corn Fried Rice
Pancit Sotanghon with Squid Ink
***
Crepe Station
Fruits and Mini Cakes
More desserts... ccokies, cheesecakes & Leche Flan
Cupcake Ferris Wheel & Chocolate Fountain
***
This is the star of the Buffet.  Their Lechon.
Every Sunday, they serve a different kind of Lechon.
Last time we were here, they had Crab Fat Paella stuffed Lechon.
This time, the waiter said it's Cebu Lechon.
But I noticed that they served it with the usual Sarsa.
Anyway, the Lechon had very thin crispy skin and
tender juicy lechon meat. It didn't have that
"piggy" taste or smell.  I'd say the lechon was "fragrant"
and superbly delectable. Sobrang Sarap lang talaga.

This buffet was featured in Jessica Soho's show a few months ago
and was called "Three Little Pigs Buffet".
There's more dear friends... buffet only costs Php 399.

Yutaka Isakaya ... a favorite Japanese restaurant

Yutaka Isakaya ... is our favorite Japanese restaurant
to dine at whenever I go for doctor's appointments
at UERM.  It serves authentic Japanese food, served on
attractive, pretty stoneware, with adorable and lovely
delicate designs.  This place is a 'common secret'
among the UERM physicians and students.
But not a secret anymore! Been going to this restaurant
for a quite a long time now.  Best to stick with
our all- time favorite dining places.
Reasonably priced dishes and friendly staff!
They serve you tea even if you don't ask.
***
California Maki and Sashimi for starters.
Agedashi  Tofu, Fried Rice without garlic
and my own California Maki (not for sharing)
***
Really love Tofu!
***
Fried Rice good for two people.
But I didn't share this. Just for me, okay?
California Maki, with the sweetest mangoes!!!
Love this sooo much!
Son's Beef & Rice Topping which comes with Miso Soup.
Katsudon ... so yummy!
Uni Sashimi ... only Php 110
Fresh, buttery, creamy and of course, yummy!
***
A Set Meal good for three (3) people.

This restaurant never fails to deliver fresh authentic
Japanese dishes.  Their friendly and hospitable
staff makes you want to come back.
Their food served on clean dainty delicate pretty
stoneware / ceramic dishes and not wooden bowls.
No popular newbie chefs here.
No TV personalities endorsing this place.
Just humble and polite Japanese chefs who bow when
you enter their restaurant.
