We hope to be back here when in Bohol.

Early dinner on our last night in Bohol was at Saffron.

Last time I was here, my friend and I had crayfish for starters,

 Kare kare, Grilled Fish Fillet and Blueberry Cheesecake.

A little kwento ...

It was the middle of the week and there weren't a lot of people

at the beach or at the restaurant. There was only one matronly woman at the 

restaurant seated near our table.  She was quietly reading 

a magazine since her companion, a middle aged man, slightly younger

than the matron left her alone with her thoughts. 

The kids walked around and took photos of the pool and the White Beach.

When they got back to the table, they were a bit noisy. But they are kids,

on a vacation, in a public place.  They weren't rowdy. Just laughing and giggling.

You probably know what happened next.

The matron, who didn't even order anything, stood up and LEFT!

Hay naku!  How very snobbish.. o baka naman,

she got tired of waiting for her cutie-pie boyfriend to come back

 and keep her company.  Or ... she got envious because we 

were having such a nice time, enjoying the food and chatting away

the time, while that poor oooold  witch pretended to enjoy her thoughts

probably evil thoughts .... some people talaga.

Anyway ...............

I'm just thankful for the staff, the waitresses at Safron for being very hospitable, kind and attentive to our needs.  We never had to call their attention to refill our glasses with ice cold water.

It was a super HOT day at the beach and we were dehydrated.

Will definitely come back to this restaurant.
