Sambokojin ... twice in a week

We went to Sambokojin twice last week.
First was lunch with the Son and then dinner with
Son's cousins to celebrate Camille's birthday.
We love Japanese and Korean cuisine and can
never get enough!
California Maki and Salmon Sashimi, just got a few pieces.
for the grill
********
lots of pork and beef
and more for grilling!
********
Tonkatsu to the MAX!
********
Oh my... what happened to my camera?
I didn't put effects.  I really panicked and thought
my camera was broken.  Son said, "Mom, try wiping the lens."
Huh?.... I did. The lens had lots of oil on it. hahaha
********
Papaya and Watermelon
Ice Cream
I just had to get some mini cakes to end the meal.
We love Sambokojin.

More grilling!
The fried stuff, with tonkatsu sauce!

and not oily, unlike in... you know where!!!

Sambokojin ... nth post!!!

I have lost count on how many times we've dined at this place.
.. and have forgotten how many times I have written and posted photos
of this restaurant.  Sambokojin is one of our favorite places to eat.
Others are Outback, Friday's, Causeway, Pho Hoa, and Kogi.
All these restaurants are in Eastwood or in Libis, Quezon City,
which is about 7 minutes from where we live.
********
These are breaded fried pork cutlets, chicken, fish or kani.
with black and white sesame seeds and the sweet, a bit spicy
tonkatsu sauce.  You can eat as many breaded fried things as you can.
You can also have as much as you can consume
shredded cabbage and steamed rice as you like,
even Kamameshi Rice!!!
Plus other Japanese and Korean dishes...
and grill your own shrimps, beef, salmon, tuna.
For the price of one Katsu set meal at Yabu.
********
I don't really understand why local bloggers still rave about Yabu.
When their breaded fried pork or chicken, even the soft shell crab,
had very little meat, were only paper thin slices of pork or chicken;
were just a lot bread crumbs and were way too oily.
********
Why go to Yabu, when you can have Kamameshi Rice
all you can and not just Steamed Rice?
Why go to Yabu, when you can even have several
plates of sashimi and sushi?
********
Why go to Yabu, when you can have as much as you want
lettuce to roll your freshly grilled Korean beef?
********
Why go to Yabu, when you can have Yasai Itame all you want
and Salmon Head Teppanyaki?
********
Why go to Yabu, when you can grill all these and so much more?
********
Why go to Yabu at all? Go to Sambokojin.
We always do.
********
..... and btw, I pay for our meals, just saying!

.. another fun and busog day with my loving, understanding travel buddies... sa uulitin!

Sambokojin's Dessert Station
Sambokojin, Eastwood , Quezon City
********
Batman, Robin and Penguin (from R to L)
Sayang Catwoman had motherly duties, or else complete ang
mga promo girls este travel buddies, aka,
BFF --- buffet friends forever.
... and our favorite place to indulge is is SamboKojin, in Eastwood,
only 7 minutes from where Batman and Penguin live.
How very convenient!
Let the games, este the battle for the bulge begin!
********
The Dessert Station ... didn't take photos of the other food stations.
This was the only station, not yet invaded by the  hungry monsters'.
My first plate... but no UNI.  Sad face :( :( :(
Let's just go to Haru girls...
My second plate... cooked Korean food.
Delicious Salmon Head with soome sweet teriyaki sauce or someting!
Fried Tofu.  some Fish and Chap Chae.. but no lettuce for wraps.
I try to avoid veggies from the cabbage family, they cause gout!
Robin got soome stuff to grill, sayang naman yung griller.
Almost ready... we had one piece each.  Medyo mahina kumain
ang bff's today... kasi kumain ng chocolates for breakfast!
My dessert ... but had the mousse in a shot glass returned to the buffet.
For picture / photo purposes only!
Cakes are alright. A lot better than the dessert at Guevarra's ... hehehe
Bubut's Ice Cream ... no bananas to make a banana split.
so this is a Cake Split Ice Cream Dessert...
O well ... was still good, very good.
We love SamboKojin, we're probably here twice a month!
