Cherry Blossoms in Seoul

The cherry blossoms started to bloom last March 28.

We didn't expect to see any blossoms in Seoul.

We were going to take a 3-hour train ride to Busan 

just to see these beautiful flowers. 

The kind Mr. Ryu, our taxi driver, told us that the

flowers started blooming Friday because of the 

warm weather.  Spring is early this year!

He told us to go to Yeouido Park

which is only 20 minutes by train from our 

boutique hotel in Meong-dong.

We were sooooo lucky!
