Victorino's is an Ilocano-Filipino restaurant
located in Quezon City,
This isn't my first time to dine here.
I was with the Hubby then, shortly after its soft opening.
The owner or one of the owners, Madam Queenie Paras
was at the restaurant and I said hello to her. We were
schoolmates in high school. She gave us a complimentary
bowl of Ilocos Cornik and even placed it on our table.
Such a gracious lady.

There were more Ilocano products for sale but
I wasn't able to take photos of all of them.

Ube Macapuno Cake by Heny Sison
Cake was alright, but it could use a bit more
cream filling, more macapuno balls, not strips.
I wish it to be more moist and have a denser heavier
pound ube cake, with ube halaya frosting, instead
of this crumbly frosting that resembles a more
common ube cake from a local bakeshop.
Just my two cents ... I actually finished the cake.
Still a favorite flavor.
