Sinigang Rice na Sinangag Dinner

Sinigang Rice na Sinangag Dinner
********
The first time I tasted Sinigang Rice na Sinangag was at Kanin Club.
Their rice was a bit soggy, so I thought of making my own version.
You will need ... 3 cups cooked rice; 1 t Sinigang Powder;
1 t fish sauce; 1 t minced garlic and 1 T olive or canola oil.
Heat the oil. Brown the garlic. Add the rice.
Season with Sinigang Powder and Fish Sauce.
Top with fried eggs and serve warm with
corn soup and beer batter crispy fried chicken.
End the meal with red velvet waffles.

Red Velvet Waffles

Red Velvet Waffles
********
I have a lot of kitchen appliances, but I don't have a waffle maker.
I never saw the need for one and would just go to Pancake House whenever
we feel like eating waffles. But two weeks ago, I finally bought
a Westinghouse Waffle Maker.  Made red velvet waffles this afternoon.
********
 You will need these.
Combine 1 cup red velvet pancake/waffle mix,
2 eggs, 1/4 cup water and 2 T melted & cooled butter.
Mix very well.
Put batter on waffle maker.
Serve warm with maple syrup and butter.
Enjoy!!!
