Crock Pot Roast Pork

Crock Pot Roast Pork

Ingredients:
Pork Kasim or Liempo  1.3 kilos
(skin removed, rolled and tied)
Onions 5 pcs (sliced into rings)
Celery 1/2 cup / sliced
Carrots 2 cups / diced
Sugar 1/4 cup
Butter  1/2 cup
Flour 2 T.
Blow Torch

Procedure:
Placed the sliced onion rings at the bottom of the crockpot.
Put the Pork Kasim or Liempo on top of the onions.
(You may stuff some lemongrass leaves into the rolled pork.)
Set the crock pot on Low for 8 hours.
Add the celery and carrots after 7 hours.
When pork is fork tender, remove from the crock pot
and place on a serving dish.
Cut and remove the strings used to tie and roll the pork.
Sprinkle some sugar on top of the pork.
Use a blow torch to caramelize  or you may use your oven.
Place the carrots and celery on sides of the pork.
Now, make the gravy.
Brown 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan.
Add the flour, Cook for 2 minutes.
Add the strained liquid from the crock pot.
Whisk until gravy thickens.

Serve warm with steamed rice
on a beautiful Christmas plate.
Season with salt & pepper.
