Golden Pavilion, Fontana, Clark, Pampanga

Golden Pavillion at Fontana
***
I ordered the Chinese Set Menu at Golden Pavilion,
even if the waiter discouraged me from choosing it.
He said it might be too spicy for my taste.
Hmmm...  really! He said the magic word, "Spicy!"
Everyone at the table love spicy except me.
Hahaha!
Some kind of corn soup... not spicy. :)
Extremely hot vegetables!
It's the fried rice that came with the Set Menu.
I told the waiter to replace with Yang Chow,
but he said, "Pasensiya na po, hindi napalitan ng cook."
I just ignored him and ignored him forever after this.
Pancit ... no shrimps in this noodle dish.
Unlike the one we ordered at King Bee, which had
really plump shrimps.  This one had NONE.
Eggplant with Ground Pork
Hubby and Son loved this dish. Hubby actually ate vegetables!
Fish Fillet & Broccoli
This was supposed to be Shrimps with Broccoli.
Hmmm .... maybe the kitchen didn't have shrimps
and used cream dory.  Son and Hubby never eat
cream dory at home but this time they did.
They said it had no aftertaste and had no
"fishy-ness". Maybe they were really hungry.
Oh but they do have shrimps...  There's Camaron Rebosado.
Mango, Pomelo & Mini Sago
A bit different from the usual Mango Sago dessert served in most
Chinese restaurants.  The pomelo or suha added a teeny weeny
bitter aftertaste to this all-too-common Chinese sweet ending.

This Set Menu costs Php 3888 ++ ... Hubby paid Php 4500.
When you use coupons, they don't give back change.

Kris, Elli, Gale and Son
Kebong is the only one missing.
They are Son's best "band-ies"... (hehe imbento)
... band mates.
Just have to eat at Fontana's restaurants.
Sayang naman ang food coupons.
But next time,  I will order ala carte and not get
the Set Menu.  We weren't given membership
discounts since the set meal was a promo.
Oh well ... there will always be a next time!

  1. Hindi ko alam na meron pa lang Chinese restaurants sa fontana Clark Pampanga. Mukhang masasarap naman mga pagkain, pancit is my favorite. Thanks sa info! :)
