Victorino's quaint, charming chandelier,
antique clay jar with fresh garlic and onions on top of this
round timeworn, probably narra, wooden table
greet the customers as they enter the restaurant.
I requested to be seated at the table nearest the
cake refrigerator display and the pasalubong corner.
I noticed a pretty lady walking around and knew right away that she
is Ms. Queenie Savellano, an old schoolmate. She is one of the
owners of Victorino's. She was kind enough to give us a bowl
of chichacorn. Thanks Queenie!
Chichacorn
Kilawin na Tanguigue, had coconut milk, which makes it different
from the kilawin in other restaurants.
Hubby's favorite, goes well with ice cold beer.
Poqui Poqui
.. is grilled eggplant sauteed with garlic, onions and tomatoes,
topped with spring onions. This is really delicious,
very fresh and perfect with steamed rice and
the other\grilled meat that we ordered.

Sarabasab / Grilled Liempo with Dinuguan Sauce
We ordered too much and had the leftover placed in take out boxes.
But I just had to end the meal with something sweet.
I got two pieces of Yema Balls and a piece of Sylvanna.
The yema was alright but the sylvanna tasted like sweetend
cardboard. I still like the sylvannas sold at SM
and the ones from Red Ribbon.

Guess I have to go back just to taste their cakes.
