This merienda cena was for the February birthday celebrators, Jannette, Malu and Me.

Wennie, a balikbayan from LA is in town so, I thought of having just one get together for the birthday girls and Wennie. But Wennie couldn't make it this afternoon and was at Punta Fuego.

The other day, I got a call from Maya, our volleyball star player in high school (who is based in Iloilo and is in Manila for a wedding), so, I invited her to the party too. Maya requested to see her team mates, Bubut and Ufer. When I called Ufer, she said she would bring Meg, another balikbayan from Canada. What started as a simple birthday get together became a reunion of volleyball teammates, group mates, high school classmates, even dental colleagues.
