The travel buddies were invited by Yayo to watch
the fifth anniversary concert of Midlife Crisis Band at
the Newport Performing Arts Theatre last Wednesday.
We had an early dinner at Cafe Mediterranean,
Newport Mall, Resorts World.
***
Kofta, which are actually just meatballs
usually made of lamb, beef, veal or chicken, served with
spiced gravy, brown rice and some vegetables.
Borek or burek, are fried filled pastries made from phyllo
(a flaky dough), filled with cheese (feta), minced meat
and some vegetables.
Moussaka is an eggplant and potato based dish served
with pita bread.
Chicken Panini with french fries. This was what I ate.
Very safe. No strong spices or garlic.
I am actually very picky and do not like spicy food.
I didn't taste the food they ordered.
Haven't been eating vegetables lately.
Moroccan Mint Tea ... I always order this every time
I am at Cafe Mediterranean.  Very refreshing!

Son and Hubby love this restaurant.
