Not everyone will exert effort to endure the traffic in Metro Manila

and drive for three long hours just to join us for a simple dinner.

Not everyone will spare a few hours of their precious time

just to see and be with old friends.

Not everyone will cancel previous commitments or meetings

for a balikbayan friend, who is only in town for just a couple of weeks.

Not everyone will spend two days cooking, cleaning,

even baking for a special friend.

Thank you to all those special people who were present 

during the despedida dinner for Dr Aimee, 

despite the heavy traffic and the rainy evening.
