Arroz Valenciana

Ingredients:
6 cups sticky rice
1 T olive oil
1 T minced garlic
1 kilo chicken / cut into serving pieces
1 T nampla / patis / fish sauce
8 pieces hotdogs / sliced
1 pc. carrot / sliced
1 pc red pepper / diced
1 pc green pepper / diced
1 cup tomato sauce
1 t atsuete powder
pinch of salt & sugar
 
Procedure:
Cook the rice and set aside.
Heat the oil. Brown the garlic.
Add the chicken pieces, brown , then add nampla.
When chicken is half cooked, add the tomato sauce.
Let boil, then add the hotdogs. Simmer for a few more minutes.
When chicken is done cooking, add red & green pepper.
Add the atsuete powder, salt and sugar.
Mix with the cooked sticky rice.
Serve warm.
