Novotel Platinum, Bangkok, Thailand

Novotel Platinum, Bangkok
***
Welcome ... Maligayang Pagdating!
We arrived at the hotel at about two in the morning.
There was a slight delay due to "traffic" at the runway in Manila.
The travel buddies' first trip abroad was five years ago
and we stayed in a Novotel, at Siam Center.
Novotel is a mid-scale hotel brand within the Accor group,
just like Mercure and Sofitel. It is rated as a four star hotel
but actually feels like a five star hotel.
The only difference is probably the simple lobby, the
small number of restaurants in the hotel and the locations.
Otherwise, the service, the rooms and the amenities
is like staying in a boutique hotel with a five star rating.
(Or is that even possible?) Oh well, we like Novotel.

Notice the elephant? How cute!
Comfortable beds, without the yucky bed covers or runners.
Just the way I like it.
Flat Screen TV
The mini ref/bar and water heater.
***
Clean and spacious toilet.

This is the view of the beds from the bathroom!!!
The view of the bathroom from the bed.
Going down ... thankful for that sliding curtain.
That's more like it.
Good night ... sleep tight!
