Gingerbread House
Gingerbread may be a cake or a biscuit, flavored with ginger, sweetened with honey, molasses or sugar. It usually comes in the form of a gingerbread man or made into a gingerbread house. The gingerbread men were first served to foreign dignitaries during the time of Queen Elizabeth I in England. Today, gingerbread is served around Christmas.
I love ginger cookies. I usually buy these cookies at Marks & Spencer, especially when they are on sale. They are a bit expensive. I like the hard crunchy texture of these cookies. I can enjoy the taste of Christmas all year round!
